The Hudson Fire Protection District provides fire services to approximately 96 square miles in southern Weld County, Colorado. Proudly serving the towns of Hudson, Lochbuie, and the surrounding rural area.
Redesign and develop the Hudson Fire Protection District’s website. Incorporate a more professional layout with a lighter color scheme while dynamically pulling content and media from Facebook and local news outlets. Ultimately, give the users a digital space to learn more about the fire district and how they serve the community.
IDDpro took a mobile first approach to the website design and user experience development. We focused on a very easy to navigate menu while expanding the basic WordPress page builder into a framework that allows for dynamic page layouts at the click of a button. By incorporating an RSS feed puller, the homepage automatically remains updated without manual intervention.
We utilized our custom “Create Yourself” framework to allow for easy back-end site management with clean, simple, optimized front-end code markup.
The final website design was bright and welcoming to users, promoting local news via RSS feed integration and incorporating a beautiful seamless Facebook widget.
In the end, the site is now more modern, faster, more secure, and more optimized than ever before.
